Music is a beautiful thing. What is even more beautiful, is when talented, creative friends form a band and compose exciting, reflective and thoughtful music. Since kidikarus formed, my music took some of my most creative roads. It was wonderful to see my songs transformed into real works of art, which made me so proud of the band kidikarus.

Unfortunately, like life, things change. People move on to different things. Time becomes harder to find. Musical tastes evolve into something completely different. Better? Worse? Only time will tell. But one thing is clear - kidikarus has become a prologue to a different musical journey.

I have to admit, there was a moment where I really felt like a star. It wasn't the sold out arena dream that all of us wannabe rock stars have - but playing in front of a handful of wonderful fans was something I’ll never forget. Thank you for your support, coming out to shows, buying our music and just listening. I know I speak on behalf of Dan and Brian when I say we were honoured to do something we love with friends we love, for people that we love.

Music is in our veins, and recording "All Will Drown" brought new blood for me. After playing an acoustic set in Brantford, Dan and I have been discussing perhaps venturing off into a very different realm for us. (Although electric is my one true love!!)

But whatever happens, thank you. kidikarus will always be apart of who we are as people.
